# foodbot
it's a discord bot that posts pictures of food

**features:**
 - posts random pictures of food (with /food)
 - you can also get specific categories of food (with /category)

**commands:**
 - /food
 - /category [category]

**about the bot (and the api):**
this bot uses an api called foodish-api

the api is open source, and you can find it on github [here](https://github.com/surhud004/Foodish)

this bot itself is also open source, under the GPL license (for the [old node.js version](https://github.com/circularsprojects/foodbot)), and the MIT license for the [current Swift version](https://github.com/circularsprojects/foodbot-swift)

**permissions needed:**
this bot just needs to be able to send messages (and embed images)
