Important message before you get the bot!!! 
You need to inform people that you use the bot, at least if they are EU Citizens. I will have a template in the update section.

Ban Identifier works automatically after you set it up. The bot won't spam embeds or messages.
You set up the bot by choosing a channel you want it to send messages to, maybe you even create a own channel for it. With ?setlog you set the channel for the bot. From there on it runs automatically. When you ban a user, the Ban Identifier records it and sends it to the database. Every member that joins your server gets checked with the database. If there is a match, the bot will send an embed with username, user ID, reason why he got banned on another server, to inform you about it. It is then your choice to ban the member or possibly talk to the member why he got banned and if he wants to behave.
Unbanning a user from your server will remove your servers information for the users data.

Other commands are ?scan <userID> = checks a specific user, ?servercheck = checks every user on your server with the database. ?audit = checks the latest ban entries in the auditlog. (Is recommended when the bot joins the first time and when the bot was offline) 
?setprefix <new prefix> so you don't have conflicting bot commands. ?help to get an overview of the commands and maybe see if there are new ones. There will also be categories so you can see what kind of ban it is. There will be the following [cheating] when someone cheats in a multiplayer game, [scam] if someone is trying to scam users with "discord nitro" or "steam gifts". [toxic behaviour] if a user is toxic against other users or missbehaves against the rules. [seller] Trying to sell stuff to pleople, if it is accounts for games or cheats or other stuff that could be against your rules. [ban dodger] A user that is trying to dodge a ban with a second account. 

More commands are already planned. An automated ban function is also planned that can be activated but is turned off as a default setting. There will be the possibility to ban also with the bot, so it can be better with logging the bans details. 

Why I created it? 
One day another admin from another server ask me if a specific user is on my server because he was selling cheats. I loved the situation so much that I created Ban Identifier to create a database of people that are toxic, cheating, selling cheats, trolling etc. so we can create more secure servers that can prevent people hurting our communities.
