# DisMatch 18+

> A lightweight, anonymous matching bot for 18+ servers.

## What is DisMatch 18+?
DisMatch 18+ helps adult communities spark low-friction, private conversations. Members set preferences, get matched, and chat anonymously in a safe, temporary DM channel created by the bot. Reveal identities only when both sides agree.

## Quick Start (Server Owners)
1. **Invite** the bot and grant: `Send Messages`, `Manage Messages`, `Embed Links`, `Read Message History`, `Use External Emojis`, `Manage Channels` (for temporary DM), and `Use Application Commands`.
2. **Create** a channel such as `#dismatch`.
3. Run **`/start matchmaking`** in that channel to post the matchmaker panel.
4. (Optional) **Customize** the embed/title/colors and provide your server-specific **TOS/Rules**.

## Commands
- **`/start matchmaking`** – Post the DisMatch panel in the current channel.
- **`/reveal`** – Within the DisMatch DM, both users must run this to reveal identities.
- **`/report`** – Report ToS violations or safety concerns to staff.

## How It Works (For Users)
1. Press **Set** on the panel and choose your **bio** and **preferences** (who you are / who you’re seeking).
2. Press **Get** to review settings; **Update** to tweak them.
3. Press **Match** and keep DMs **enabled**.
4. You’ll be connected to a private DisMatch DM to **say hi**. You remain **anonymous**.
5. If it’s a fit, both parties can **`/reveal`**. If not, select **Unmatch** on the panel to queue for the next match.

**Limits:** Up to **2 matches per 24h**. Use **Unset** to take a break.

## Reporting & Safety
Use **`/report`** for: harassment/abuse, suspected minors, solicitation, verifiable catfishing, or anything that feels unsafe. Be ready to share details and screenshots.

> Once users have revealed and move to personal DMs, the bot will not mediate further disputes. Severe conduct may be escalated to server staff with evidence.
