Long ago, the world was created by 3 gods. (Floral, Episti, and Steve.). The gods had watched from above for a long time, but had grown bored of just watching. Around the time the ancient Egyptians were around, they decided to go around disguised as humans to get a closer look at their world. When they saw that they were being worshiped, they were very pleased, and everyone prospered that year. The gods had decided to make it a tradition to visit the humans every 200 years. Every time the gods were pleased, they'd leave good health and food to everyone. Until that day. It was time for the gods to make their 200 year trip again, but everyone had forgotten about them. People had move onto religions such as Christianity. The humans were also destroying the planet they worked so hard to create. The gods were furious about this, but decided to give everyone one last chance. To redeem themselves. But unfortunately, everyone mocked them. Laughed at them. The gods had enough. They decided to make a disease, from which the perfect species would re-produce with one and other. To mock the humans back, they decided to make the disease like the zombie movies they loved. And now the world is in a state of ruin and chaos. The gods laugh from above, and sometimes on the surface, as humans. It's your job to survive the cruel fate of the gods.
