Welcome to Pyrithos - the city of wonders!... is what some company PR worker would try to sell you. Pyrithos is a massive cyberpunk metropolis right in the middle of a world tainted by industrial wastes and overproduction. 
While the small upper and middle class leads good lives, the people in the lower districts and those outside the city often struggle to survive, living under dystopian circumstances as the world is under a constant night while the outlands are overflowing with mutated animals, rogue robots, and raiders. And if that was not enough, there are also terrifying creatures and people called Exterri living under the surface, threatening those overground.
But not everything is all bad, at least for certain people. Companies are drowning in wealth, cyborgs can get amazing upgrades to replace or switch out body parts, mutants have access to various mutations, and even non-augmented humans can enjoy weapon and armor upgrades among a great selection of items, be it grenades, shields or even medicine. If you have the money, you can get almost *anything*.

- Be a cyborg, mutant or just stay a normal human that focuses on gear upgrades. No matter what you choose - you have a lot of customization options thanks to the body system we use that allows you to go simple or complex. Just want to modify your entire arm? That's fine. Want to modify each individual finger? Also possible.
- Be loyal to a company to get special loyalty services, buy from various different ones or fight against them. Each company has different specs for their products that can make all the difference
- Join various organizations like a company, the purist church, a research foundation, a gang, a criminal syndicate, mercenaries, the mutant alliance, and more
