     Fields of shimmering, emerald green grass. Warm rays of sunshine piercing through fluffy clouds that litter the sky. And magic. FUCKING MAGIC! I'm talking fire from the palm of your hand, electricity at your fingertips! A world of infinite opportunity. It's every person's dream.

     When dimensional travel was created, the world was beyond ecstatic. You'd think it'd be pretty cool to visit alternate Earths, all with their own unique ecosystem. When the first portal was opened, people thought just that. 

But the world we found was desolate. Dead.
