Conquest is a newly developed text-based game featuring one expansive map that is randomly generated as users travel through it. Claim land, gain resources, and forge a path to building an empire! 

The game is currently in the early development stages so we are happily taking any suggestions put our way.


Getting Help

The help command is pretty basic just type /help {category}. There are two categories currently, general and game. An example would be /help game

Game Mechanics

To get started with the game use /join. This will make you an account and you can get started finding a place to settle. Use /user to see where exactly you are on the map as well as your starting information. To move around the map which is -1000 to 1000 in size on the x and y axis, simply use /move 10 -20 as an example.

In /user you might have noticed you have 3 settlers to begin. These are used to claim a tile (x and y coordinate on the map) as yours. Its important to know every person that plays this game shares the map so space is limited. To figure out if the tile you are on is already claimed or to see the resources on it, you can use /scout.

Once you find a tile that you want to settle on, you can use the /claim command which will use a settler and claim the tile as yours! Congrats you have a colony now :) 

It will immediately begin start producing resources for you on a 20 min interval as well as grow in population which then makes more resources etc etc. Each 24 hours the map will regenerate all its resources on every tile so your colony can continue to grow. If the colony runs out / uses all its resources it will pause growing until more spawn. This can be prevented however.

You might have noticed you spawned with 5000 gold. With this you can buy farms or mines for your colony while you are standing on it. You can also buy settlers. Buying farms will increase its daily food generation significantly, buying mines will do the same to minerals. You can buy as many as you like :).

During that 20 min cycle your colonies will mine minerals which generates you gold.  However you can also manually mine tiles that you are standing on with the /mine command. This works on your colony or unclaimed tiles but not other players.

Once you have a few colonies setup you can view a quick view menu of all their stats with the /colonies command. If you want more specific stats use /colony {x} {y} to pull up its info. An example of this would be /colony 5 23. 

If you want to give gold to another player simply use /give @player amount

and finally if you have ideas use /suggest please!!! This game is very early in development so any ideas appreciated.
