Replacing the shelter, handling pet wellbeing differently and some luck changes

  • Pet Well-being: The amount of time a pet can be sick before losing well-being has been increased to 5 hours. The amount of time a pet can be muddy before becoming sick has been increased to 4 hours. Pets well-being now decreases by only 2 points per day (previously 3), unless they are sick.

  • Notifications: There is a new notification option in /user-settings: You can now be notified when you earn a new achievement or level up an existing one.

  • Pet Facts: Finding new facts no longer depends on the pets speed (which was quite difficult for slow pets). Now it's determined by the time of the current fetch and the total XP of the pet.

  • Eat: The chance of getting sick when eating cookies has been reduced from 20% to 5% per cookie for now.

  • Hurl: For both uses of luck points combined, only one luck bonus is now used (previously they were used separately). Additionally, the chance of reaching more meters when using luck points has increased.

  • Tray Traverser: If luck points are used to catch hot cookies, the luck points are only used if the player catches the cookies. Additionally, after finishing a game, all fields are now revealed so you can see where the remaining hot cookies were located.

  • Shelter: The shelter will be removed in this update. Pets currently in the shelter can still be adopted, but new pets can no longer be brought to the shelter. If a pet is sick for more than 3 days, it will automatically be taken to the hotel, where it will be healed and cared for until you either pick it up or can no longer afford the hotel bills.

  • Hotel: If you can no longer afford the hotel bills, they will be paid for using the pets food instead. If the pets food runs out as well, the pet will run away from the hotel. P.S.: Paying for the hotel with pet food isn’t free for the zookeeper either.

  • Runaway Pets: If a pet ran away, it cannot be sent to the park, on fetch, or to the hotel. It also cannot be petted or renamed. A runaway pet must first be persuaded to come back. This can be done via the /pet command (special display for runaway pets). For each day the pet has been missing, it demands 10 more cookies as compensation. If a pet has been missing for more than 30 days in a row, it is gone for good.

  • Releasing: Releasing pets is now possible at any time without the previous conditions. However, you should still pay attention to the pets well-being to get a higher reward.

  • Additional Note on Removing the Shelter: Removing the shelter now makes it impossible to transfer a pet from one account to another. If you wish to transfer a pet, this can now be done manually via Support (Cookies DMs) for the time being. The cost of 200 cookies remains and must be paid to Cookie King.

Bug fixes:

  • Streak: Voting for the bot now also counts toward the streak.

  • Fetch: If the pet has had a lot of events during the fetch and the number of events surpasses the limit of the maximum message size, only the latest events are shown.
