Legends tell that these words were spoken by Vulir, the first emperor that faced the worshippers of the Fenrir, worshippers of the dark.
Some believed he had a vision of what was to come, but Vulir uttered truth not prophecy. When the dark worshippers conquered the land of Arvid, the flame of defiance guttered and the Fenrir was summoned, by then the holy land should have been lost. But heroes were sent by the gods, and the dark tide was repelled.
For centuries, the empires held firm against its enemies. Man kind has encountered no foe that steel could not tame, or whom walls could not hold, at least that is what they thought. The chaos gods, the dark brothers, and the dark sisters, tire from their great game. Now they seek to swipe the board clean with fire and blood. Desperate for revenge, the dark worshippers struck a pact that they will turn a witch into the darkest witch of all, a witch that would be capable to bring the apocalypse again using her own son. No one spoke of this ancient enemy now slowly rising from beneath, and now no one will be left to tell the tale unless heroes rise.
Once again, the holy land stands on the brink.
Once again, heroes are needed. 
And yet, in the very hour of victory, the saviors of the holy land were seized by the treacherous witch.
With every dawn, hope fades.
After all, if the greatest can fall into darkness, what chance could there be for those who remain?
*The witch's menacing laugh would be heard echoing in the distance.*
