The whole world is reaching a standstill, economically and socially. The nation of Japan, once known for being at the top of the world when it comes to entertainment, music, and lifestyle is falling into obscurity, and its big names are falling from grace. Most people are unable to escape the rising line of poverty, unable to support themselves no matter how much work they take on. The world is falling into a state of depression, not just financially, but literally.

It's rare you see anyone smile now. Most people autonomously go through every day, exactly same as the last, having given up on the hope that things will get better, or that times will change. Miracles like that no longer happen.

Ensemble Square still remains standing, just barely, even through the complete turmoil happening in the world around it. After all, it had always acted as its own independent nation; its 5 year silence as the popularity of idols decrease well below national record proves just how much of a good idea that was. Even as Idols left the talent agency as work grew quiet and began to pursue other lives, it sits readily, perfectly able to spring back into action any moment now. It just needs the opportunity . . .
