All of The legends are true… Vampires, Werewolves, Warlocks, Faeries, Angels, Demons, all of it, they are true and very real. And there is a war brewing that is hidden from the sights of all mundanes, humans if you prefer, a war that is threatening to destroy everything in its path and tear apart the fabric of society. Nephilim aka Shadowhunters are the only beings able to hold everything together but even they are struggling. There is a supremely dark evil that has risen over the centuries from the very depths of Edom, itself, rearing its head in many forms, the worst of them would be in the form of two figures, This evil is yet to be unveiled by the light and it has brought forth a change in the Shadow world, that change was in the form of demons rising from the depth of Edom and infesting the Downworlders with a disease that has created new species in its wake.

Many Downworlders have taken this opportunity to cause trouble under the radar while the Shadowhunters are trying to keep up with the chaos.
