Blinded by pride and divided by mere birthmarks, the ancestors strayed from the path Aeluria had planned for them.  The angered goddess turned a blind eye to the growing corruption in return. The two kingdoms, Maera and Nearene, fought for centuries but humans eventually grew tired of pointless bloodshed. 

In order to end the never ending cycle of hatred, they agreed on an arranged marriage between the heir of Maerea and the heiress of Nearene. The two nations will unite forever on the day of ‘Enosi’ and both birthmarks will put aside their differences, hopefully bringing back Aeluria’s blessings.
