Prof Oak

Prof Oak is the latest leveling bot. Featuring split tree role assignment (optional), dedicated notification channel (optional), a non-linear xp curve for levels, role path selection buttons, and slash command support.

Slash commands currently enabled are: /level to display your server level and points, or enter a friend's name to check their level. /leaderboard to check the top 10 active members in your server /notifchannel to set a dedicated channel you want all the level up pings to go to (optional) /roles to set the roles you wish to have assigned throughout members leveling up to earn more privileges in your server. /rank to display your rank or another members rank in your server /newpath to change your path if you missed your initial menu or would like to change your role path before you've reached role 3 in that path (requires rolebase or role 1 or 2 in a path) /ping to check the bots latency

/roles can be sort of hard to understand at first so here's a detailed explanation. Rolebase is a temporary role that is given when a user reaches level 2 in your server. This role allows them to interact with the message prompt that allows them to pick a role path to follow. Role paths are branches off of a tree that members can follow during their time being active on the server. At level 2 they pick a path to follow (path x role 1) then when they hit level 10 they advance to the next role (path x role 2) then at level 17 they gain the final role of that path (path x role 3) and the selection menu pops up again, allowing them to select another role path to follow(path y role 1). When you earn the third role in a path, you will retain that role, you've earned it. Then at level 20 you earn another role (path y role 2) and at 24 you earn a third role in that path (path y role 3) and again, the menu will pop up allowing you to choose the final role path (path z role 1), you earn path z role 2 at 26, and path z role 3 at level 30. IN ORDER TO UTILIZE THE ROLE PATHS YOU MUST HAVE ALL 10 ROLES ASSIGNED

/notifchannel and /roles require admin priveleges to use

The levels are designed such that you can reach role 3 in the associated path in about 3 weeks of being active in the server. To calculate number of messages to reach a level, the formula is SQRT(messages)÷2=level

There may be premium features in the future, early users will be rolled into premium plan benefits automatically and free of charge.
