Welcome to the City of Angels! This is a literate roleplay server, based on a homemade sci-fi biopunk setting, with hints of cosmic and cryptic horror and a healthy sprinkle of action and drama.

Janvs Labs, a nigh mythical company, managed to achieve a historical breakthrough in science in 2010: DNA splicing. Through a secret process, the company is able to combine the DNA of any animal to that of a human for performance or aesthetic. These Fauna Spectrum Additions, as the company calls them, have caused a great deal of talk in Los Angeles. Between State Troopers with canine sense of smell, criminals with tiger claws, chimp-muscled bodybuilders and cheetah-legged runners, the city is completely different from how it was before. Janvs Labs thrives economically, becoming the biggest entity on the market, and the Eden Guardians, their formal oppositionists and homeland terrorists, fight to take them down. Meanwhile, mysteries roam the streets, whispers, stories come to life. Beware of the myths.
