Among Us

Hello, I'm Neckless. Over the past month I have worked incredibly hard to create an Among Us server customized to the highest degree. I started this server after playing a few games on the larger Among Us LFG servers. I quickly realized how hard it is to find 9 other people who I actually enjoy playing with. From people breathing into their mic, meta gamers, people who wouldn't talk and refused to give info, people talking while they're dead, and especially people just being downright rude. It all made for a super unenjoyable experience. And the size of the bigger LFG servers means that they can't possibly regulate these types of players.

That brings us to a bit over a month ago when I began work on a new type of server. A server big enough to easily find a game but not too big so that we can't regulate and moderate the behavior of all our members. A server that has the community a massive server just can't offer you. And lets be honest. Playing with 9 strangers is just not as fun as queuing up with people you know or who are even your friends.

Please keep in mind that to keep our community small we will be doing limited invite rounds. We will keep this page open till we get an amount of people to match our goals for this server. After that we close the invites we will winnow down our members. Leaving only the ones that meet our criteria for eligible players. We will continue this cycle till all slots are filled with satisfactory members. Note that there will be no way of joining the server in between invite rounds.

Below I have detailed some of the benefits of joining our server. We believe that these features truly set us apart.

• Queue feature. On other servers I've been on I have noticed a lot of issues and confusion over how many people are trying to join a game and who's next in line. This server keeps track of all that, simply by joining the Waiting Room you're ensured to get into a game in the exact order you joined the queue. Keeping it fair and preventing queue cutters. This feature will also stop people joining while you're in game and possibly interrupting a crucial moment.

• No code spamming. Another solution for a problem I've seen on a lot of other servers, Among Us lobby codes are sent in the general chat. This means that whether or not you actually need to know what the code is you get a ton of spam. To circumvent this for our members we came up with an intuitive solution. When you join a lobby you're automatically given access to a corresponding text channel where the codes for that lobby will be posted.

• Community. In our experience there are two types of Among Us servers. The first is a small friend group server. The second is a gigantic 30,000+ LFG server. Both types have positives and negatives. Smaller servers are great for playing with friends, however Among Us really gets less fun the fewer people you have in a lobby and these servers always have fewer players. Large servers have the advantage of never having a shortage of players, but again, they have major issue. It's impossible to get 10 good players or even 10 people who you want to play with. And even if you do find a few funny, nice, good players you never play with the same people twice. On our server we have the size to have multiple games going at one, but not too many to stop you from making friends.

• Support Tickets. On the average server getting help from mods or admins can be a real chore when it absolutely should NOT be. With a simple and easy to use support ticket system getting help from staff really couldn't be easier.

• Suggestion system. Having your suggestions heard and implemented into a large server is almost impossible. With our suggestion box we'll make sure that every one of your suggestions will be heard and given the fair chance they deserve.
