The first programme of its kind in Romania and the only one in Europe to be conducted in English, the International Master's in Philosophical Counselling and Consulting will be conducted in English in partnership with similar established programmes in Italy and France and with training specialists from other countries (UK, USA, Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, etc.).

The programme provides applied theoretical knowledge and skills to use appropriate tools and methodologies to support individuals or groups facing existential, relational, ethical and decision-making problems in their individual experience or in social and professional contexts. The level of demand practised by the teaching staff and the large number of collaborating experts from abroad is high (by Western standards), which explains the not always very high pass and graduation rates.

Philosophical counselling and consultancy is increasingly applied in civilised countries to an ever wider range of problems, which have given rise to professions ranging from ethical, business, community and children's philosophy consultancy to that which addresses strictly individual client problems, more often involving a rethinking of their values and beliefs through the use of rational conflict resolution methods based on critical-analytical, argumentative and dialogical tools specific to philosophy.
