Underground Lab

As the days drag on, so do the awful deeds souls choose to do. Lying among those few is a stranger to us all—one whose name we do not know. For that reason, we call them Xenos: a name that means stranger. Xenos had dreams just like the lot of us, but he was limited. He couldn’t freely do what he wished to do with all the rules bounding him. Not only that, but those higher in rank only spoke behind his back—laughing at his stupid ideas. He was ignored, picked on, and denied even more experiments than before due to all the talking.

The unknown person, once an aspiring scientist, slowly became manic and reached a most pleasant conclusion the day he stumbled upon an abandoned building. It was located underground at the base of a large mountain in the northern rocky mountains in British Columbia, surrounded by a dense forest and a large body of water, the entrance being built into the rock face, perfect for staying hidden while he got away with what he wanted.

He, of course, took advantage of the find and began fixing it up little by little. He stole supplies from his past lab to put in his newly built one. Once he felt it was prepared well enough, now it was time to recruit some members. He was careful with who he talked to, making sure they were trustable before having the sign a contract. First he found himself bodyguards, then builders, next janitors, scientists, and other needed spots.

Now it was time to begin the real fun. As the lab improved, disappearances became more frequent. Traces were never found of the missing people… No one knows what happened to them. Remember the lab that’s been mentioned many times before? That’s what happened to them. They were kidnapped and dragged away from their normal lives to be thrown in the lab and used for experiments with no hopes of escape as they’re enclosed in walls 10 miles beneath the surface.
