Hello @everyone! 👋 A new Everysync update is live with improvements focused on security, dashboard clarity, and better sync behavior. If you notice anything weird, please report it in #support — it really helps! 🙏 --- 🛡️🔒 Security & Permissions Fixes 🚫 Fixed an issue where a server banned from a group could sometimes still perform actions in that group 🎙️ Fixed an issue where banned users could still have their voice synced in a synced voice channel --- 🧭🧼 Cleaner & Smarter Group Settings 👀 Settings you don’t have access to are now hidden (If you’re not on the owner server or not the group owner user, you won’t see options you can’t edit.) ✅ Fixed an issue where you couldn’t add a channel to a group as a regular member (not user owner / not server owner) --- 🐛🧩 Dashboard Fixes & UI Improvements 🧾 Fixed a visual bug where “syncable channels” could sometimes show channels that shouldn’t appear 🔁 Fixed (again — for real this time 😄) an issue where very long usernames or server names could break sync 🧩 Added a page to view orphan groups you own (You’re still owner, but no longer in the owner server — banned, left, or bug.) --- 🔄✨ New Sync Features & Improvements 😀 Added reaction synchronization on messages 🎙️➡️ Added unidirectional support for voice sync 🌍 External emojis used in messages should now sync too (Only if the bot is also in the emoji’s origin server.) --- 🧑💻🪪 New Option: Username Display 🔧 Choose which username Everysync displays (global vs server nickname) — Dashboard only --- Thank you for your support ❤️ Your feedback keeps Everysync improving every day! 🫶✨

Hello @everyone! 👋 A big Everysync update just landed — and this one is a game changer: Voice Channel Synchronization is now available! 🔥 As always, if you notice anything unusual, please report it in #support — your feedback helps a lot! 🙏 --- 🎙️✨ NEW: Voice Channel Synchronization This is one of the biggest features Everysync has ever received — and it opens the door to real-time cross-server voice! 🌍🔊 🔗 You can now sync 1 voice channel per server with another synced voice channel 📡 Your voice is relayed in real time across the synced servers ✅ A consent prompt is sent in the voice channel’s linked text chat, so users can choose whether to share their voice 🔔 A small sound plays when someone accepts voice sync 🔕 A small sound plays when someone who accepted disconnects 📊 The voice channel status now shows a live counter of how many people are currently syncing their voice ⚠️ Important: Voice channel features are available only from the dashboard: https://everysync.app/ --- 🐛✅ Forum Sync Fixes Several important fixes were shipped to make forum post synchronization more reliable: 📝 Fixed an issue where it was impossible to edit the first message of a forum post 🖼️ Fixed an issue where adding an image to an existing forum post wasn’t syncing 🧵 Fixed an issue where a forum post created with an image was never synchronized --- ⚡🧠 Dashboard Reliability Improvement 🔄 Fixed a caching issue where changes made on the dashboard wouldn’t update immediately (Previously, you sometimes had to wait up to ~5 minutes for the auto refresh to see changes across other servers in the group.) --- Thank you for your support ❤️ I’m incredibly proud to finally bring voice sync to Everysync — I hope you’ll love it! 🫶🎙️✨

🚀 Dashboard Beta & Feature Update 🚀
Hello @everyone! We’re excited to roll out a major update centered around a brand‑new online dashboard and several highly requested features. Here’s what’s new: ✨ New Features & Improvements Completed an online dashboard at https://everysync.app/ (beta). Added a tutorial. Updated Terms of Service. Added the ability to kick a server from a group. Added the ability to change the owner server of a group. Added the ability to generate a single-use temporary password to join a group. Multiple other minor additions for you to discover. Dashboard in beta The dashboard is currently in beta, so some features may not work as expected. I reserve the right to close the site at any time if problems arise. Please report bugs so I can fix them quickly. I really look forward to hearing your feedback on any features that are ‘slow’, ‘non-functional’, ‘potentially flawed’, etc. I am counting on you! Thank you for your support!

A new version has just been deployed, bringing a host of critical bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features focused on security and transparency. Here’s what’s new: 🐛 Bug Fixes Group Deletion: Fixed a major bug where a group was deleted even if you cancelled the action in the confirmation message. Auto-Complete: Corrected the auto-complete suggestions for the channel option in the /group removechannel command. Memory Leak Fixed: Resolved a memory leak related to the "Username is writing..." synchronization feature, which should significantly improve the bot's long-term stability. Performance: Implemented various optimizations and fixes to improve the bot's overall performance. And many other minor bug fixes! ✨ New Features & Improvements Send a notification to all rooms in a synchronisation group when the group is deleted! Send a notification to all synchronised channels when a server is banned from a group Send a private message notification when a user is banned from a group When creating a group, the password field now more explicitly states the criteria that the password must meet. Added a 『⚙️』statistics channel on the Discord server Added a statistic on the number of private groups in real time Added a statistic on the number of public groups in real time Added a statistic on the number of synchronised channels in real time Added a statistic on the total number of servers synchronised by the bot in real time Added a statistic on the total number of messages synchronised by the bot since today Added a statistic on the total number of threads created and synchronised by the bot since today Added a statistic on the total number of forum posts created and synchronised by the bot since today Added the ability to specify a reason for bans in the /group banuser and /group banserver commands Added ban reasons to the /group banlist command Added a /group importposts command to retrieve posts from a forum room with which you are synchronised (only works if the destination forum room is empty) NB: The statistics ‘since the bot was created’ are counted from this update onwards. 🚀 New Update: Auto-Complete, Optimisation, Translation and New Features ! 🚀
Hello ! A new version has just been deployed, bringing a host of bug fixes and major improvements, especially to command usability and international support. Here’s what’s new: 🐛 Bug Fixes - Auto-Complete Overhaul: Fixed numerous bugs and implemented missing auto-complete suggestions for the following commands: /getserverbymessage, /getuserbymessage, /getgroupbymessage, /group banserver, /group unbanserver, /group addchannel, /group removechannel, /channelinfo, /group banuser, and /group unbanuser. This should make using them much more intuitive. - Invalid ID Validation: Fixed a critical bug where any text could be entered in the /group banserver and /group banuser commands. The bot now correctly verifies that the provided ID is a valid Discord server or user ID before proceeding. - Unban Logic Corrected: Fixed a bug that could sometimes cause your own server to be removed from a group when trying to unban another server. - Channel Syncing: Fixed a bug that incorrectly allowed syncing a text channel with a thread using /group addchannel, which would later cause crashes. The validation is now stricter. - Translation Fixes: Corrected various translation errors across the bot. ✨ New Features & Improvements - Automatic Language Detection! When the bot joins a new server, it will now automatically detect the server's language and set its own language accordingly (if supported). This means less setup for new users! - Full Command Translation: All commands, subcommands, descriptions, and options are now fully translated. The bot will display them in the language of your Discord client. - New Translations messages are added 🚨 Important Disclaimer 🚨 This is a significant update, and while I've tested it thoroughly, there's always a chance for new, unforeseen bugs.
