A real case study: our very own emma's dome server lost a tonne of engagement after the person who did our qotd's left to focus on her growth towards her career.
After trying to take over myself, I found it hard to stick to the daily pattern and keep the community engaged. This qotd bot has automatic scheduling (paid feature, use .qotd command for free posting) so I didn't have to worry about remembering to post the questions. Not only that, but I was worried that using a qotd bot would remove the human and community aspect, but the bot shows who wrote the question, and the author can even react and reply to your answers!

(and you don't have to vote to unlock basic features) – $9 for questions to send automatically lmao i get that it costs $$$ to keep discord bots up and running, but, 1. we shouldn’t even be vilifying the fact that every bot owner needs money to make things sustainable, and 2. this genuinely is the worst way to ask for it when ‘QOTD Bot’ does that for free and offers suggestions from users. unles...

I love how everyone gets to submit their own questions across servers but $9/mo for premium [and to access auto posting] is kind of a joke. The website is pretty hard to navigate as well.
I'm thrilled that you like the concept! While most of the bot is already free, I am going to stick with autoschedule, queue and server streaks being paid features. However, you can still enjoy the bot for free just by using the .qotd command. Fortunately, the pricing you've referenced includes premium features for all of my bots, not just this one.
