Cross-server scam prevention, phishing detection, giveaways, moderation, reaction roles & web dashboard. Community-driven scammer database

What is Redline?

Redline is a cross server moderation and scam prevention bot built to protect Discord communities, especially marketplace and trading servers, from scammers.

Our scam database is community driven. When a user submits a report, Redline staff manually review the evidence before anything is confirmed. No automation, no false flags. Every case is a real, verified decision.

Redline is a new bot. The features below are the baseline for what is next.

Scam Protection

  • /report: Submit a report against a scammer with evidence attached
  • /risk: View a full risk breakdown for any user, including link scanning via VirusTotal
  • /bulletin: View and manage your server's live scam bulletin
  • /lookup: Detailed user profile including avatar, banner, account age, badges, and flags
  • /scamkick: Softban a compromised account, wipes their recent messages and lets them rejoin once their account is secured
  • Right click → Check Risk Score: Instant risk check on any member
  • Right click → Lookup User: Instant user profile from any message

When a confirmed scammer joins your server, Redline can automatically assign them a scammer role so your members know immediately.

Scam Bulletin

Set a dedicated channel in your server and Redline will post and maintain a live auto-updating embed listing all confirmed scammers detected in your community. It updates automatically as new cases are confirmed. Your members always have an up to date picture of who to watch out for, without anyone having to lift a finger.

Link and Phishing Scanner

  • /link check: Check if a URL is a known phishing link
  • /link validate: Validate a URL's SSL certificate and availability
  • /link list: Browse the known phishing link database
  • Automatic phishing detection: Redline passively monitors messages in your server and flags known phishing links in real time, configurable via /settings

Moderation

  • /ban add: Ban a member with an optional duration for temporary bans
  • /ban remove: Unban a user by ID or username
  • /hackban: Ban a user by ID without them being in your server
  • /kick: Kick a member
  • /warn: Issue a formal warning with optional expiry
  • /timeout add: Timeout a member
  • /timeout remove: Remove a timeout from a member
  • /scamkick: Remove a compromised account, clears their messages, and lets them rejoin once secured
  • /purge: Bulk delete messages
  • /slowmode add / /slowmode remove: Manage channel or category slowmode
  • /sanitize user: Strip zalgo text, invisible characters, bidirectional control characters, and name hoisting from a single member
  • /sanitize all: Run the same cleanup across your entire server at once

Every moderation action creates a tracked case with a full audit trail. Case reasons can be edited from the dashboard and the change syncs back to the original embed in your mod log automatically.

Evidence Enforcement

Through /settings you can require your staff to attach evidence when they ban, kick, warn, or timeout someone. You choose which actions require proof and which do not. Every piece of evidence is stored with the case and accessible from the web dashboard at any time.

Ticket System

  • /ticket: Configure and deploy your server's support ticket system

Redline's ticket system supports multiple categories, each with their own independent permissions and dedicated staff access. When a ticket is opened a private channel is created for the user and the assigned staff team. Every ticket is fully transcribed and stored permanently on the Redline website, accessible from your server dashboard.

When a ticket is closed the user automatically receives a feedback prompt. Their ratings are tracked per staff member and displayed alongside live quota data in your dashboard. Staff quota is broken down by today, this week, and all time.

Additional controls include:

  • Manual strikes for staff members with reason and full history
  • A ticket blacklist to block specific users from opening tickets
  • Configurable transcript view access so you control who can read closed tickets
  • Per-category staff role assignments so different teams only see their own tickets

Giveaways

  • /giveaway create: Create a new giveaway with a full configuration modal
  • /giveaway reroll: Pick new winners from an ended giveaway, permanently locking out all previous winners
  • /giveaway delete: Cancel and remove an active giveaway
  • /giveaway list: View all active giveaways in your server

When creating a giveaway you can configure required roles to enter, excluded roles that cannot enter, per-role entry multipliers (such as giving Premium members 3x entries), a minimum message count requirement, and an optional requirement that entrants also be a member of a separate server.

Voting integration: Members who vote for Redline on top.gg automatically receive bonus entries in any active giveaway they have entered. The bonus stays active for 12 hours and doubles every weekend automatically. Non-entrants who vote receive a DM explaining the perk for next time.

Reroll protection: Rerolled winners are permanently tracked so the same person can never win twice across the original draw and any subsequent rerolls.

The giveaway embed live-updates with the current entry count every time someone enters. All giveaways are fully visible from the Redline web dashboard including a participant list with avatars and a heat indicator for giveaways with unusually high join rates.

Role and Member Tools

  • /role member: Add or remove a role from a specific member
  • /role all: Add or remove a role from every member in the server
  • /role in: Add or remove a role from all members who currently have a specific role
  • /reactionroles: Set up reaction role panels with exclusive or multi-assign modes and a full custom embed builder
  • /membercount: Live breakdown of your server's member count

Greet, Leave, and Ban Messages

  • /greet join: Configure a message or embed sent when a member joins
  • /greet leave: Configure a message or embed sent when a member leaves
  • /greet banmsg: Configure a message or embed posted in a channel whenever someone is banned, regardless of who issued the ban
  • /greet channel: Set the channel for any of the above
  • /greet disable: Disable any configured message
  • /greet test: Preview any configured message in the current channel
  • /greet status: View the current configuration at a glance

Messages support variables like {member}, {memberName}, {serverName}, {newMemberCount}, {banReason}, and more. Run /greet usage to see the full list. Both plain text and rich embeds are supported with a color picker and thumbnail selector built into the setup flow.

  • /lookup server: Detailed server info
  • /timestamp: Convert any date and time into Discord timestamp codes
  • /link check and /link validate: Link analysis and SSL validation tools

  • /dashboard: Open a direct link to your server's Redline web dashboard

Web Dashboard

The Redline dashboard at https://redlinebot.com gives you full control over your server without touching a single command. From the dashboard you can manage server settings, view and edit moderation cases, browse and search ticket transcripts, track staff quota, issue and clear staff strikes, view user feedback ratings, manage giveaways, and use the built-in DM relay to message users directly from your browser.

I Tried using Redline in my server for a few hours now and i think it is one of the better moderation bots out there. i trthink that the scammer database is a really cool system like if u have servers where you sell stuff. i like how users I wouldn't have caught otherwise can be caught. The dashboard looks really nice and it works good. I like the staff quota systems idea but i havent used it yet....
