Kalendar is here to help make your Karuta life easier.

Kalendars first function was to help you calculate the best and optimal path for your dates. This includes giving the max AP and helping you keep track of your date times so you can get back to them as soon as possible.

Some extra features include using airplane, getting to the airplane, and fixing your route incase you did a slight mistake.

All of these things are only here to give you an output of the best option, but never does Kalendar actually touch Karuta. Therefore, this is allowed and has been made clear in the Karuta Help channel.

Bit Calculator In Karuta, they have an in-game currency called “bits” that are broken up into different types (ex. Clay bits, leaf bits as shown in the image below). Karuta displays this information as an embedded message. I realized that a lot of mobile players were unable to copy this information, so I created a feature in Kalendar that could take this information and return a copy-pastable list. It also is able to add up the total number of bits for user convenience. Once again, this does not alter the original embedded message from Karuta in any way and my bot will not respond to or send messages unless the user interacts with my bot specifically.

Frames Karuta has an aesthetic feature where you can add decorative frames to cards. This feature just shows all the possible frames in Karuta as a list that is more accessible and copy-pastable for mobile users. It never touches Karuta and doesn’t use Karuta to display anything shown below.

Node Damage In Karuta, there is a battle system that revolves around “nodes,” which are resources that players can fight for to gain the bit currency listed above. My bot is able to help players do the math used in these battles and give mobile players a way to copy-paste the userId or username listed in the embedded message that is normally accessible for computer players. While this may be redundant, like with all other features in my bot Kalendar, this does not directly participate in any gameplay within Karuta. Kalendar does not press buttons, make selections, or operate Karuta. Kalender simply gives users information that they can choose to apply. None of this information is given without users requesting it to Kalendar.

Trade Reminder Karuta is also a very large economy based game. Many servers include some sort of “marketplace” for users to trade in-game items. However, there are some problems with this system. One such problem is the lack of clarity regarding if listings are still available. Oftentimes, people post listings, perform the trade, and forget to delete their listing or edit their posts to state that they are no longer trading. This optional bot feature would allow users to request a notification when a trade is complete (demonstrated in the image below). These reminders have to be turned on by the user, so my bot will not send any messages unless it is explicitly asked to.

Server Drop Ping As stated before, Karuta is a card-collecting game. A big part of it is “dropping” cards, the process in which these cards spawn in channels. In Karuta, these drops can be initiated by the user and randomly by the bot itself. However, Karuta does not notify players when these random drops happen, so oftentimes players miss cards that they would like to have. The “Server Drop Ping” feature of my bot Kalendar would allow users to assign a role to be pinged whenever Karuta randomly spawns cards. Only the combination of having a specific role and using my bot to assign that as a “pingable” role would give an individual notification when a random drop happens, meaning that only those who want this feature will receive notifications. By default, my bot will not ping any roles and users will not receive any notifications regarding drops.

As a final reiteration. Every single one of these actions requires the user to either setup the channel/server to want to do a certain action, or have the user explicitly react to something to notify Kalendar to respond. My bot will not interact with the user unless asked to. Also, my bot will not PLAY any discord bot game for you. It is simply here to notify you the best answer or give you statistics.
