Manna

Manna is a donation/crowdsourcing bot suitable for many different kinds of situations.

Getting started

info gets you general info about the features.
help gets you info on commands in a nutshell, help all returns all available commands (with your roles) and help [command] gets more detailed help per command.

Manna is flexible. A server admin or a bot moderator can define role(s) which can edit the bot or use the bot per feature. Complete features can be disabled and enabled per server. Features can be customizable to best suit your server needs.

Manna is smooth. The bot feels non-cluttering since it will delete the command messages and most responses after a while, leaving your bot channel with only the messages you really need.

It currently has the following features, which can be turned off by using disable <feature>.

Donations

Use for requests for donations and donating, include commands like request, donate. The bot will keep track on everyone who's pledged for a donation in a non-clutter way and will DM the host when the request is either fulfilled or cancelled.

Each member is allowed one request at a time. The bot can be configured to allow only certain role(s) to use request and/or donate. You can also limit the types of things members can request so that it fits your server theme. Suggested preset for request types is available for ACNH.

Queues

Use to make special channels to wait in line for something, include commands like create, next, set. Before this feature can be used, the server needs to configure a specific category where all newly-created queue channels will go and a "queue list" channel where the queue will be listed and where the members will go to join the queues. This can be done with queuesetup <channel> <category ID> .

Queues currently work best with Animal Crossing New Horizons island visits! Before a member can join a queue, they need to set their IGN and island name to the bot. This info is then given to the queue host when they call for the next person in line, so that they know that the right person is coming. A member can also delete their data from the bot whenever they want!

The bot can be configured to allow only certain role(s) to create and/or join queues.

Giveaways

Use to host a giveaway, include commands like give, reroll, end. Host can determine how long the giveaway will be (from 5sec up to 1 week), how many winners there are and include a longer description for example to explain giveaway details/rules. Giveaway can be ended before time runs out too and a winner rerolled if needed. Entering the giveaway is as easy as reacting to the message.

The bot can be configured to allow only certain role(s) to create giveaways.

Announcements

Announcements need that at least one type of announcement channel is setup first. If you just want to use one channel for all announcements, set it to type default with the command setnoticeboard default <channel>. If you want to use a different channel for a different type of an announcement (like sales should go to a sales noticeboard, artwork should go to a different channel etc.), then add more type-channel pairs with the same command.

After a channel has been set, announcements can be sent with announce command.

Sending an announcement will send a formatted notice message to a specific channel dedicated for this type of announcements. By default the full message will be sent in the notification. If you want only a portion to be sent, use double quotes (ex. announce info "This is notice!" This is some other text) to show which part of the message should be sent as an announcement ('info' is the announcement type in this case).
