A bot to help you quickly find mental health information!
Mental Health Resource Bot is an easy way to pull up information and resources on many different mental health issues and struggles. Anywhere from anxiety to dissociative disorders, MHRB aims to include many resources for many different situations and diagnoses. Don't know what you're looking for? Try a command like /generalcoping for all inclusive coping resources!
Not yet! MHRB recently underwent a complete coding overhaul after Discord API changes (hello, slash commands!), which delayed resource gathering a bit. Fortunately, most of that is all finished! For now, please check the command list to see if it currently includes the resources you need. If you would like to request specific resources, please visit the support server and put your suggestions in #bot-suggestions! You can also use this channel to discuss the currently included resources, should you find they are not sufficient!
Yes! Mental Health Resource Bot is truthfully very simple and doesn't collect much at all data wise. All MHRB can really see is server id's, user id's, and message IDs. MHRB asks for permission to use things like embeds, send messages, send messages in threads, etc. This is just so the bot can function where you need it to, and permissions can be tweaked by you at any time. I've asked for some extra permissions (such as poll creation) in advance in the event that a command that utilizes it in the future needs it, then you won't need to tweak the permissions or get a new link! None of these additional permissions utilize any sensitive data, however. For more info, please check the privacy policy.
