Well they assumed they'd defeat him, as he turned into thin air. But, he had not died, he had been transporting through several dimensions, indeed creating the steel ball run universe while leaving the original universe unharmed The green baby was used to resurrect Joseph Joestar, who had died of old age. Joseph however, was revived as his 18 year old self, making 18 year old him in the modern day jojo universe aka the one from part 2 He's lost his memories from end of part 2 onwards But, with Joseph being revived it also revived an old foe because of the last of Made In Heaven's power before Pucci's death. someone who used to be forgotten. Pucci had accomplished his mission just before he had died He had been able to revive DIO in his part 3 state DIO has been hiding out and trying to redevelop his stand to defeat the joestar family once and for all And the Joestars need your help to defeat him! You can RP as canon characters, like Jolyne and Jotaro etc. etc. And as OCs you will get 1 chance to revive one character. Probably through some kind of item. All characters who had previously died are still dead except Joseph

Joseph is trying to get sense of this new world, Giorno's leading the mafia in Italy, Josuke's taking care of Morioh and Jotaro and Joylene have settled down in Japan as Jotaro tries to improve his parenting skills
