Project Terah: The 100 AU

It's been ninety-seven years since a nuclear apocalypse killed everyone on Earth, leaving the planet simmering in radiation. Fortunately, there were survivors. 12 nations had operational space stations at the time of the bombs. There is now only the Ark, one station forged from the many. We’re told the Earth needs another 100 years to become survivable again. Four more space-locked generations and man can go home, back to the ground. The ground — that’s the dream. This is reality. Reality sucks.

I was born in space. I've never felt the sun on my face or breathed real air or floated in the water. None of us have. For three generations, the Ark has kept what's left of the human race alive, but now our home is dying, and we are the last hope of mankind.

The Ark is dying. There is a system failure in the air generator and the council has elected to send a select few down to earth in order to find out if it is survivable or not.

The only ones that know about Project Terah are the council and a select few others. They watch over the kids from the Earth Monitoring Station. Here you will find large screens filled with info on the kids, like their vital signs. This will be explained more later.

This is based loosely on the CW TV show, The 100, but in an alternate reality. One without the Canon Characters, leaving the storytelling to us and our OCs.
