Can an online democracy truly work? Welcome to The Lagislature, a fully realized democracy simulation built within Discord — where citizens govern, debate, legislate, and build a functioning republic from the ground up.

We are currently in the Founding Phase, where early members help shape the Constitution, elect officials, and determine how the branches of government will operate. Every citizen’s voice matters — whether you run for office, write legislation, interpret the law, or simply participate in debate within the Town Square.

This is not about real-world politics. It’s a creative experiment in civic collaboration, political roleplay, and social organization. The goal is to test whether a functioning democracy can exist in a purely digital space — where structure, law, and discussion shape the outcome.
