It is the final years of the 30th Millennium.

The Emperor, still in his corporeal form, leads the armies of mankind at the frontlines himself. The Imperium of Mankind has conquered much of the galaxy, yet many still remain in enemy hands.

As his armies march forward, his Primarchs, his children lead the way, 20 superhumans capable of astounding feats. Once, they were separated from him. But no more. They are all together, bringing their swords and their bolters onwards.

The Imperial Powerhouse, scattered throughout the galaxy, continues to wage war against their enemies with staggering success. Spearheaded by the Legions of the Adeptus Astartes, the Imperium of Man enjoys several victories, and thousands of reconquered worlds.

But, a force unknown to most whispers in the Emperor's ear, threatening to upend his entire effort at uniting the galaxy under human dominance. He ignores them. No, he prepares for the inevitable day when the ruinous powers take him head on. He knows he is resistant to their vain promises, but can he say the same for his children?

He protects... but for how long?
