We're looking for dedicated members to help build and lead our community as we continue growing into a global PC gaming hub. ## Available Positions ### Engagement Team Welcome newcomers, organize events, and lead community activities. You might also represent Odysseia by leading guilds and clans in our affiliated games. **What you'll do:** - Greet new members and help them feel at home - Plan and host game nights, tournaments, and watch parties - Keep the community active and engaged - Lead or co-lead game divisions (Dota 2, Path of Exile 2, etc.) ### Moderation Enforce server rules, guide discussions, and maintain community standards. **What you'll do:** - Monitor channels and respond to reports - Handle rule violations fairly and consistently - Use AutoMod and moderation tools to keep the server safe - Mediate conflicts and de-escalate heated situations ## What We're Looking For **For both positions:** - Active Discord users who understand server structure, roles, and permissions - Strong communication skills (English proficiency required) - Reliable and able to commit at least 5-10 hours **__per week__** - Patient, level-headed, and good at conflict resolution - Team players who can work well with other staff **Bonus points if you:** - Have prior moderation or community management experience - Speak multiple languages - Have skills in design, video editing, or web development - Are passionate about Greek mythology (hey, it's our theme!) ## What You'll Get This is a **volunteer position**, but we value our Council members: - Dedicated members who contribute meaningfully may receive rewards like Discord Nitro, Steam Wallet funds, game keys, and gift cards as tokens of appreciation - Direct influence on community direction and events - Leadership experience in a growing international community - A supportive team environment ## How to Apply Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. 🌊 Odysseia: A New Chapter Begins
The journey continues, and the path ahead has never been clearer. After months of planning and refinement, I am excited to unveil the complete transformation of our community. What began as Realm of Gaea has evolved into Odysseia --- > **Here's everything that's new:** ## 🏛️ Server Rebrand & Rename **From Realm of Gaea to Odysseia.** Our previous name honored Gaia, the Primordial goddess and first-born of creation in Greek mythology. While the name was aesthetic and meaningful, feedback from the community revealed it didn't quite resonate as the ideal identity for who we are. **Odysseia** is inspired by Homer's epic poem: the story of Odysseus, a tale of adventure, resilience, and the bonds forged through trials. Every time we game together, we're on our own odyssey: facing challenges, celebrating victories, and building something legendary as a crew. This name captures the spirit of our community perfectly. It's memorable, it's epic, and it reflects the journey we're all on together. --- **The Council has been restructured**. Staff roles are now clearly defined with specific responsibilities: **Head Admin** - Leadership and vision **Admin** - Supports the Head Admin with appeals, oversight, and major decisions. **Moderator** - Rule enforcement and community standards **Bot Manager** - Technical systems and automation **Engagement Team** - Events, activities, and game leadership - Check the **Server Guide** to learn more about each role and the people behind them. --- ## 🎫 New Ticketing System Need help?
