Empyria: Remnant of Ataraxia

We are a private group of literate roleplayers. As simple as that, we do not waste time with questionable roles. And because of that, we are rather strict with our requirements.

Here are some things that you should know before deciding to join and read the extended synopsis.

Synopsis: It is the year 709 in the Empyrian Calendar, 2845 in the Gregorian Calendar. The empire known as “Empyria” stands ever so proudly and powerfully in its home system, the gem of their empire being their own homeland of Agartha, blessed with endless renewable energy as a result of the planet’s innate magical nature, its inhabitants baptized with special powers that are beyond any normal human’s, the most shining example of such special powers being the “Cataracts” that are granted only to those of noble blood. The empire is rich and developed, its people living peaceful and constructive lives under the rule of the current queen, Aeryn Kure Ophelia, and 6 of her most trusted and handpicked officials, the Collbrandes, who are only second in power to her.

However, not all is as it seems in what appears to be a utopia of an empire. It is plagued and rattled with various problems that stem from its internal workings, sometimes from outside forces plotting against Empyria and its people. The most notable of these outside forces is the ruthless Rythen Empire which has yet to return from its first invasion of Empyria in the past, ruled by its empress, Azmis Ouranos, and the privy group of her own set of most trusted officials, the Remnants of Ouranos. But one can argue that the worst enemy is not the one from out there, but from within.

Everyone that joins will have a 24 hour period to decide whether or not they want to join the roleplay unless provided a reason for their absence for the next couple of days prior to the entrance.
