Setting is Toronto, CA🇨🇦 circa 2031

Canada and Russia went to war in the 80’s and Canada lost a lot of money. Several malita’s attempted to overthrow the weakened Canadian government but the USA helped to stop this by sending armed forces into Toronto where it had a temporary border from the rest of the country and armed guards everywhere, the practice failed to stop. After 9/11 America annexed part of Canada including Toronto but due to violent malita’s it could only remain as an unstable territory. Now America has rapidly turned into a christo-fascist nation under a failed attempt at communism. The streets of Toronto are patrolled by American soldiers and society is a cyberpunk dystopia.
