At the end of time, a group of mysterious creatures resides. They are the last sapient beings- able to look at all beasts that came before. The story of one little planet catches their attention- while the form and all life from Earth is long gone, its impact on the cosmos is not.

And as these beings- Overseers- see many tragedies that unfolded. But above all else, they are particularly fraught by one thing- those who perished before they could gain the spark of sapience. The Overseers have no power to send themselves back in time- but they can bring others of another species to them or at any point in history.

That sparked the idea- of rewriting the history of the long-gone Earth by granting a chance to those left behind by cruel nature. Thus, a select few Overseers scoured history, choosing one member of a non-sapient species and bringing them here, granting them the intelligence of man, and giving an offer:

They can return to history with no memory of what has transpired here and lose their newfound intellect- or they can face a set of tests to determine if their kind is worthy of another chance.

That is where you come in. You've found yourself in a strange place, unlike anything you've seen before. Something about yourself is different- like you can suddenly understand concepts beyond your previous mind. Yet, your memory is undamaged.

There are others here- some species you've encountered before, others beyond your wildest imagination. Even stranger- you can understand them. There are no longer communication barriers.

But oddest of all are the ones who brought you here with an offer. You are confused- but they're willing to explain. It may be worth listening; after all, what else can you do?

Beyond time is designed to be a literate, limited spot, and semi-plotted roleplay. Any creature from a part of Earth's history- barring some exceptions- is welcome. We encourage you to check us out; there might be a place for you here.

We offer:

● Literacy- 200-word minimum for in-character. ● An active, friendly community and owner. ● Semi-plotted roleplay- but know your OC can shift the course of events. ● Limited spots- 15 roleplayer spots overall, but this can change in the future. ● Spectator role- watch the roleplay without participating. ● Unique roleplay setting at the end of time. ● And much more.
