Sonic the Hedgehog: Blast from the Past

About five years after G.U.N.'s raid on the ARK, though obviously, the average citizen is none the wiser. The United Federation's conflict with Holoska is rising, and there's a bit of political crisis Soleanna. A time of patriotism, new technology, and paranoia about the "other". Unlike our fifties, individuals in Mobius are accepted by society regardless of their race, gender, or orientation. The fashion, however? Yes. Bring your poodle skirts and leather jackets. Get your hair curlers. Get a flip-comb. Have fun with it.

The technology center of the United Federation is a city known as Alpha, who has had a recent breakthrough in areas of gravitational technology, robotics, and genetics. Many aspiring inventors flock to this place. Recently, a gravitech train was built to transport both people and goods between Alpha and Central City, the capital of the United Federation. One of the major research teams in Alpha is the Ender Institute, led by an older man, Steven Ender, his new wife, Pixel, and his adult son, Newton. They are pretty ethical, so it seems, but who knows how much an old man can crack under pressure...?

Cerulean Island is a beautiful tropical island, though, recently, many residents and tourists alike have gone missing, leaving their families and friends worried... The cities are often tourist traps, while the island's actual citizens usually prefer to flock to the small coastal towns. The beaches have such soft sand, and the rolling waves have a brilliant cerulean hue to it. There's ruins lurking deep within the island's jungles, of times long past, and a large volcano by the name of Mt. Imperial.

G.U.N.... Obviously, Towers is not even in the organization at this point in time. The current commander (submittable character, so left vague) in charge ended up taking charge right after the ARK incident. Will they uncover the truth? Will they change the organization and world for the better? Double down? Who knows!

Also... yes, the aesthetic is going to be based off of pre-war Fallout. Have fun.

Please note that although this takes place in the past, that this doesn't necessarily have to lead to canon! Get funky with it. It's okay to change the path the future takes- in fact, I encourage it. Don't be afraid to make an impact, ok?
