Dragon Ball - Something New (DBSN) is a DBZ server created by someone who has a love for Dragonball, Roleplaying and RPG Systems/TTRPGS, and wanted to combine all 3 in a way that would result in an effective, streamlined combat system with room for customized everything! In DBSN, our focus is on ensuring you make your character unique and tailored, ensuring combat is streamlined and quick, and fostering an active roleplay scene with events and quests. Some of our systems include:

• The Training System! - A very simple training system that is both activity based (more rewards for people who roleplay more) and offers small passive bonuses so players who can't be active constantly don't fall too far behind. Whether it be just character interactions, training, serious fights, events or quests, there's plenty of ways to progress!

• The Quest System! - Where people who step up to the role of Saga Masters can host quests, sort of like short side stories akin to DBZ Movies or Filler episodes where players can earn rewards for their characters.

• The Technique System! - Create your own techniques with various levels of power and plenty of Technique Traits to pick from to really customize your abilities! And the dozens of utility techniques that can be used in and out of combat.

• The Combat System! - Choose between Traditional RP VS RP combat, or the new Combat System! It's a core that revolves around rolling 1 dice most of the time, rarely ever going above 4 dice. The real meat is how you build your character, with many race, form and technique options to make your character fill a certain combat niche you want. And of course, don't forget about Perks and Faults, upsides and downsides unique to your character that really help to solidify their build, granting upsides and downsides, some of which are gained narratively!

• Custom Everything! - DBSN encourages players to create what they want to ensure the idea of their character and their capabilities are exactly how they want them. We actively encourage everyone to make custom techniques technique traits, forms, form traits, races, perks, faults and more! If it's good enough, it might even get added into the official systems!

• Our Progression! - Rather than keeping the progress of the server exclusively on how active everyone is at pushing the story forwards, from the get go we have split our long term goal into 10 Eras. Each Era will signify a point in time and a general level of power, and every 2 months we will proceed to the next era. This means that should people slow down or get burnt out of the current Era, a next one will always arrive, bringing new enemies, lore, and maybe even updates to the system!
