[UPDATE] Neglando | Antarctic Polsim 2017

The new update is out now, which adds the following features:

- We've devised and named nearly 50 different unions, societies and corporations that will forever change the outcome of elections in Neglando
- We've created an interactive meeting system where party leaders and their team can meet with any organisation to request donations, endorsements, policy deals, or just work together, with RP representatives hosted by our admins
- We've created a brand new donation system, endorsement system and policy deal system, which will affect electoral results for parties
- We've created our very own banking bot for party leaders to view party funds and spend money on campaigning or investing in relations with organisations
- We've opened the public actions channel
- We've created our own starboard system that works well and automatically updates a leaderboard
- We've created our own level system, with giveaway boat rewards and more coming for people who participate and get higher levels 
- We've updated the calendar to match recent dates

Unions, Societies & CEOs update

Between the 24th of December and the 2nd of January, RP (Roleplay) will be paused in our server. This means you can still create a character and browse our server, but in-server character RP will be paused during this period. This is to allow our members a break and a stress-free Christmas.

Our community is made up of people from many different backgrounds and ages - that is why we will screen new members for TOS and legal compliance prior to entry. You won't need to answer any questions, just apply and we'll review your application in no time.

## Election period in progress 📊⚠️
### Until the 22nd of March, we will be preparing and calculating our general election. This means that normal activities, such as parliament sessions, will be suspended during this time. You can still join our server and create a character, but please be mindful that server activity, especially during result calculation periods, will likely be very low.

### What the hell is Neglando? 😵‍💫
Neglando is a fresh slate for the Politics simulation community. There's no real country lore Neglando follows - instead you get make Antarctica (Officially called Neglando) to make it your own. 
### What do you mean Antarctica? ❄️
In an alternate reality, Antarctica is populated by immigrants with very different interests - some are evil billionaires, some are democratic activists, some are US progressives who walked out after Trump and some are former-USSR authoritarian conservatives and communists. 
### What can I roleplay as? 🤹
Become an MP - just create a character, it's that easy. You can also stand in the upcoming mayoral elections and build up the non-existent infrastructure. Next Season, regional & city council seats will be opened. Will you be pro-urbanist or will you put cars first?
### How is the server democratic? 📊
We have a server union - where you can vote and have your say on major decisions. Plus, we have a multiple person executive committee deciding major decisions for our server. NGPol is a community group after all!
### Is everyone welcome?
Yes, everyone from far-right to far-left is welcome. Extreme beliefs like Fascism are prohibited.
