The Cafe

Many years ago, around 2022 a user started a discord channel named "Town of Salem Cafe" in order to find competitive and legitimate players to play with in hopes to have a voice game. Upon making the channel, many nights were spent inviting people from each individual game that was played. As the first year went on, the server grew and we had amazing support from everyone who joined. We had streamers, and YouTubers playing on the channel, we grew to play more games outside of Town of Salem. As the server grew, we decided later to make a name change to "The Cafe" which was just going to stay in the same chill spot to hang and play video games with each other. Unfortunate events occurred causing a self destruction and deletion of the server.

Fast forward nearly two years later and yet again another unfortunate event as a fellow member passed away that we all played with, and in his honor we had come together to remember him and play games with him. The user's name was Faulty and he was very well known in the community. As we joined a small memorial server, a small idea launched to give the Cafe one more attempt, as the falling out could have been avoidable. With a new chance at life "The Cafe 2.0" was born in March of 2025.

The idea behind this server stays the same to have a gaming discord community to hang out and play games together. We try to keep fresh ideas on the server and entertaining ideas to keep people active. We strive for fun activities within the community by doing weekly events, and trying to have nightly games. The start of this server started with 10+ members that were all Original Members of the Original server that was deleted. As the server grows, we hope the second time around is a charm where everyone has a safe fun space to hang out and play with new people from around the world.

To engage more people to play and stay active, as well as invite your friends, you will see that we try to host giveaways for cash as often as we can. The last server we had gave away over $500+ in gift cards and prizes. We are looking to expand and grow as a community in the future.

To everyone from the past server who decided to come back and give this server a second go, welcome back and thank you! To all the new members who join, take a look around at what we have to offer and we are open ears for all suggestions that will keep people happy and entertained while here.
