Visual Novel Collectors' Discord is a server for Visual Novel fans and newcomers to share and talk about VNs (visual novels).
Regardless what type or genre of VN you enjoy, or if you new to VN's, you're more than welcome to join.
The idea is to gather people and create a large achieve of quality VNs of any genre.

What qualifies as a Visual Novel?

I'm sure many think of them differently and I am more than happy to hear how you qualify a VN, but if I were to give my qualification for one it would be:

A story driven game were the player spends the majority, if not all the time, reading a textbox with static or animated characters in the background visualizing the story you're reading.

Server features

I plan to have as many useful features for VN fans as I can get, but for now we have:

• Recommendation Channel
  • A channel where games will be posted with a brief description, what type of VN it is, sources like where to get them, and other good information to have. I'll try to keep this as spoiler-free as possible.
• Dedicated Visual Novel Bot (WIP)
  • As I am a developer myself, I want to make a good bot that will be able to search through visual novels, monitor and manage the server automatically and have other fun features to entertain everyone.
