Chat platform Discord was initially launched as a social platform for gamers. It has widened its appeal, but you will still find many Discord servers for gamers. Some servers are relatively generic, covering multiple games and often other types of popular culture. However, you will find many servers on Discord devoted to a single game. Some of these are official game servers run and operated on or behalf of the relevant gaming company.
