The Left Lane

Our vision for this server is to act as a lounge of sorts for progressives, i.e. people that understand that the current status quo needs to change and wish to change it for the better. We want to encourage our users to remember that fact when they engage with users of another ideology or tendency. When critiquing other users try to engage in good faith and create productive discourse. When criticizing other users try to remember this fact. If you criticize your fellow members for a reactionary position they hold we encourage you to give them a chance to change. We urge our members to be open to change their mind on positions they hold in light of valid criticism. Try to keep an open mind. We shouldn't be talking down to members who are not well educated in leftist theory. We all started somewhere. While we accept all progressive leftists, this server does lean a bit on the heavier side with Marxism, Leninism, and Maoism in terms of it's users.
