I really wanted to like Flaux Bot since it’s marketed as a rewards bot for community engagement. Unfortunately, my experience with it has been overwhelmingly negative. One of the main problems is how heavily it relies on voting for rewards—giving users 20 entries just for voting feels like a lazy way to inflate stats rather than reward actual community participation. It skews the system and makes genuine engagement feel less valuable.

Worse, the owner’s behavior is a major red flag. Rude, unprofessional, and outright dismissive when approached with feedback or support questions. It’s incredibly off-putting, especially when you're trying to use a bot that’s meant to enhance community experience. A bot is only as good as the people behind it, and in this case, that’s a huge problem.

Overall, Flaux Bot feels like a missed opportunity plagued by bad design choices and even worse management. I’d strongly recommend looking into alternatives with better support and fairer reward systems.



I appreciate the feedback, even if it stings a bit. Let me clear up a few things for anyone reading this:

Flaux is a completely free bot, no premium-only features, no paywalls, and nothing locked behind donations. But like any serious project, it takes real time and money to keep it running and improving. Since Flaux is still small (just under 250 servers), we heavily rely on voting as our main growth method. That’s why users get entries as a thank-you reward for voting. It’s not about giving anyone an unfair advantage, it’s about appreciating those who help support the project.

Right now, users get 20 giveaway entries for voting, which is equal to sending 20 messages, something most active users do daily, and often way more. It’s not a shortcut, it’s just a small boost for helping the bot grow.

Also, Flaux isn’t meant to replace community engagement, it’s designed to encourage and reward it. Voting rewards are temporary and will be phased out once we hit around 500 servers, when the bot is more established.

Regarding support, I’m one person doing my best to build something great, and I’m always open to feedback. But punishing members of your own server for supporting a free project discourages positive engagement from your own members.

Flaux isn’t perfect, but it’s growing fast, improving every week, and powered by the people who believe in it.
