Hello everyone, you may be aware that adding the bot to your servers is currently not possible. I am waiting for Discord to approve Xeno Bot's intent requests, which are necessary for the bot's key functionalities, such as message management, and integration features.

I will inform you once this issue is resolved through updates in the Annoucment or Update channels.

## 🧬 FACTION UPDATE (NEARLY COMPLETE)

Factions are coming. Here’s what that means for you:

### The Factions
Three factions are available to join: Patho, Red, and Black. Factions are not player-created. A selection of official factions already exist and can be found in <#1482151875875700940>

### Joining
Pledge your hive to a faction and operate under its banner. Your faction is global, everything you do affects your faction, and everything your faction does affects you.

### Cosmetics
- Exclusive xenomorph skins for faction members
- A custom xenomorph unique to your faction
- Faction owners receive a Queen Mother xenomorph

### Your Profile
Your **hive tag** will display on your `/profile`, showing the world which faction you belong to.

### Combat
- Hive battles - pit your hive against others
- Faction battles - coordinate with your faction to take on rivals

### Progression
- A full ranking system within your faction
- Faction leaderboards - track standings within your faction and against all others globally

### Upgrades & Boosts
Factions can invest in upgrades that benefit every member:

- Boost Royal Jelly production
- Increase the xenomorph cap in your hive
- Raise stats across all your xenomorphs

These buffs are global (a stronger faction means a stronger you).

- Some issues with IDs being reused
- message expiring and editing to the timed-out now doesn't resend the message and edits the original 
- Runner Facehugger evolving into a drone, now correctly evolves into a runner
- **Hosts & Xenos not showing up due to them being given before they were guild locked**, they now should appear in your inventory. Warning: if you do not have a hive then this fix does not apply to you (23 users)
- `/evolve list` -> cancel jobs erroring out
- `/leaderboard server` showing global counts for hosts and eggs rather than for a specific guild.
- `/leaderboard server` not showing data for slowest & fastest catch
- Evolving xenomorphs then trying to add to the hive fails to show up

Dev is very good with responding to bug reports and suggestions, make sure to report bugs if you see themmm
Pretty fun to have some competition going on in the server with who can collect the most eggs, hosts, or xenos, or to compete for catching the egg spawns. It also contributes to the global leaderboard so its a nice thing to check and compete for as a collective server.
Still pretty early in the bot's life so i'm lowkey excited for future stuff as well, im addicted MWAHAHA
