PeanutBotter

Hi there! I'm PeanutBotter, and I can host short, competitive free-for-all games for your server! Type "pb help" to see a list of commands I can execute. To learn more about any specific command, type "pb help command".

About games

My main feature is the variety of short free-for-all games that I provide. You can play all of these by yourself, but they're the most fun when played with others! When using the command, the game will start after a specified waiting period. This is to allow for people in the server to get into the channel where the game is being held, as well as for newcomers to read the rules. If you want to skip the waiting period, type "skip" after the command.

"pb quiz" includes traditional random facts as well as some wacky tasks to complete.

"pb math" is a points-based game where I post random math facts. Too easy for you? Type "pb math hard" to get harder questions!

"pb wordsearch" will have me post a randomly generated word search puzzle. Too easy for you? Type "pb wordsearch hard" to get a bigger puzzle!

"pb battleship" is a free-for-all version of the classic game where I hide the ships and everyone else tries to find them.

About permissions

Here's a guide for v.3.7:

• Read Messages and Send Messages are REQUIRED in order for the bot to facilitate gameplay. (This will still be true even after the bot upgrades to slash commands.)

• Manage Messages is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Disabling this will block the cleanup feature in "pb battleship" (which can make the game hard to play) and "pb puzzle".

• Everything else is SUGGESTED so that you don't have to re-add me to your server if a new feature requires a new permission.

@lisa_wolfgang and I don't collect any personally identifiable information, period. I don't know about you, but stalking people and selling their data is pretty weird.

I'm hosted on repl.it, which means that I fall under their privacy policy as well, but they don't appear to collect any of your data either. If repl.it makes a change in their policies, or if you have any questions about PeanutBotter privacy, please let @lisa_wolfgang know in the PeanutBotter support server!

This is unrelated to privacy, but the fact that I'm hosted on repl.it means that I'm subject to any downtime or maintenance that the site may experience. Please be patient and report any downtime on the PeanutBotter support server!

About other commands

"pb puzzle" and "pb dankme" are just commands that make me say fun things.
