The world of Evearen has been ravaged over centuries by a magically created miasma, known simply as the fog. This substance once roiled over the landscape, laying waste to many civilizations and twisting the flora and fauna into corrupted versions of their original selves. But as the years ticked by the fog has receded to the Shadowlands, a corrupt area that mortal kind not dare tread.

This has left the other lands of Evearen ripe for settlement! The wilds thrive with new beasts, and travelers now walk it's ruins and forests in order to make a name for themselves!
