Fortnite Match Maker
Using this you can make a custom Fortnite match. Creating a Fortnite custom match can be an exciting way to enjoy the game with friends or host a community event. Unlike public matches, a custom match allows you to control who joins, which mode is played, and sometimes even the rules. To host a custom match, you need to have a Creator Code, which is granted by Epic Games to players who meet their support-a-creator requirements. Once you have a Creator Code, you can access the custom matchmaking key option in the game.
To begin, go to the mode selection screen and pick the game mode you want, such as Solo, Duos, or Squads. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a button that says "Custom Key." Clicking it opens a field where you can enter a custom matchmaking key—this can be any word or phrase, but it must be unique to avoid conflict with other players using the same key. After entering your key and confirming, you can start the match once enough players join using the same key.
Invite others by sharing the matchmaking key. They’ll need to select the same mode and enter the key before clicking “Play.” Once everyone is ready and in the lobby, the host can launch the match. Custom matches can be used for friendly competitions, clan tryouts, or just for fun with creative rules like no building or melee-only fights.
It’s important to communicate the rules clearly and ensure everyone understands how to join. While Epic doesn’t offer prizes or ranking for custom games, they’re a great way to foster a community, improve your skills, or stream unique content. Whether you're a content creator or just want to spice up your gameplay, custom matches provide endless possibilities for fun.
