New Dawn

Two centuries ago, nuclear fire rained down on the world. What might have been a utopia of robots, medicine, and progress was instead twisted into a wasteland where every day became a struggle to survive.

Yet time changes everything. Around the ruins of Boston, civilization is finding a way back, numrous tribes have appeared with their own culture, such as the greenclaw, the biggest drug manufacturers in the region, who given they call the southern desert their home, have been forced to become sailors, and notably, the Republic of Wellesley, the largest nation in the east of Massachussets, over 20 diferent settlements are aligned with them, and their leaders, Joel and Jenn, referred to by Loyalists as the "Power Couple of Wellesley".

The world itself is scarred beyond recognition, as not only nuclear bombs fell but terraforming bombs, which destroyed the enviroment, a massive mountain ridge formed, ssome 200 kilometers from boston itself, making travel in and out of the region, not impossible but dificult, and everything to the south of boston has become a artificial desert due to these weapons, at the edge of the desert, wanderers can find husks of cars cut in half, with the other half turned into a pile of sand long ago. all across the easstern ruin's of massachussetts, the survivors want something real, they all want to start living rather then just surviving. And indeed, the question is not whether humanity will survive, but what kind of world it will build from the ruins of the old.

Lead the first republic to either achieve its lofty goals of peace and freedom for all, or corrput the republic beyond recognition, you can also lead its enemies to victory.
