What is Tenkō-dō? Tenkō-dō, Japanese for Path of the Heavenly Light, is a modern spiritual movement inspired by Tenrikyo, Konkokyo, Shinto, Bahá’í, Hinduism, and Caodaism. the path emphasizes peace, helping others, social justice, and the Joyous Life through prayer, chanting, meditation, and service.

What are the Beliefs? ✨ Tenko, the Heavenly Light, is the one loving source of all creation. All religions are expressions of this divine love. ✨ Life’s purpose is to live the Joyous Life: helping others, acting with sincerity, and aligning with Tenko’s will. ✨ We cleanse our hearts through prayer, chanting, meditation, and service, letting Tenko’s light shine through us. ✨ Faith is shown through compassion, evangelism, social justice, and striving for world peace. ✨ Clergy and lay ministers will guide the community, but Tenko’s truth lives in the hearts of all who act with love.
