You wake up in Chicago, Lincoln Park, with a bulky collar around your neck, a numbered tag on your ear, and not a memory of how you got here. The streets are devoid of human life, although everything is in perfect shape, with not a sign of a disaster to be found. The electricity is still on, the traffic lights still work, the trains still run about without operators. All the stores are fully stocked, every thing is in perfect order, except- all the humans are gone.

As you explore you find other animals like you, with collars like yours, many who have formed packs and clans, seeming to have been here for a long while. It is unknown what is going one here, but you are told to avoid the barrier, or else. You have to accept your new life, and, just maybe, you can find answers, and if your beyond lucky, a way out.

As you wander you hear rumors about a pleague that has killed humans, animals are rumored to be immune, maybe that's why we are here?
