Karuta puts players and economy first. Through extensive logging and an active support team, anyone abusing selfbots or alternate accounts are quickly banned.
To add Karuta to your server, use the invitation link and make sure that youтАЩve given the bot all of the required permissions.
ItтАЩs very important that Karuta has the ability to read messages in every channel of your server. Without these permissions, Karuta will not be able to provide your server with the highest amount of automated card drops. Automated card drops are based on server activity, which is determined only if the bot can see where active text chats are occurring in your server. If you want to disable KarutaтАЩs ability to respond to commands in any channel, simply remove its ability to send messages in those channels.
Karuta works best when given its own channel. When youтАЩve picked a channel where youтАЩd like cards to drop in, use the k!set command in it to set the active Karuta channel. This tells the bot where to send all automated card drops and prevents server members from dropping cards anywhere except in this channel.
One last, optional step to setting up Karuta is setting your serverтАЩs chest goal. Each Karuta server has its own chest, which you can think of as an inventory that belongs to the server. Members of your server can contribute gems to this chest, which can then be used to unlock special perks for your server. Currently, the only server-based perk available is the Abundance Aura. To set this item as your serverтАЩs chest goal, use the k!chestset abundance aura command.
ThatтАЩs all it takes! Karuta is now set up in your server and your members can begin dropping cards and grabbing as they please.
Although Karuta has dozens of commands, which you can find further down this page, the botтАЩs two core mechanics are dropping and grabbing.
Users can drop cards by going to the serverтАЩs active Karuta channel and using the k!drop command. This command will allow you to drop three cards with a 30-minute cooldown. Both the number of cards dropped and cooldown can be improved through items in the gem shop.
Additionally, the server will automatically drop cards based on the serverтАЩs chat activity. If many users are actively chatting, cards can drop as frequently as once every minute. For less active servers, cards will drop slower.
When you see a card you want to add to your collection, click or tap on the reaction beneath the card drop which corresponds to it. For example, if the card you want was dropped as the second card in the set, youтАЩd click or tap the 2я╕ПтГг emoji reaction.
If no one else reacts to that same card within one second, itтАЩs yours. Otherwise, all users who react to the card will fight over it. Fighting for a card is a simple RNG mechanic where a random user who reacted is awarded the card, which is intended to help out high-latency players and discourage botting. Players who manually drop cards will always win fights for their dropped cards.

Over the years, the Karuta economy has evolved in a way to where our players place very high value on their cards and items. This has resulted in players attempting to sell their Karuta cards and items for real money, which we do not support. As a result, Karuta has attracted a lot of attention from people with no interest in anime and who only look to play the bot as a way to make money.
Due to this, we have established extremely strict policies against cheating. Any form of alting or botting is strictly against our rules. To monitor this, we require all new players to go through a verification process. Through verification, we are able to track players who cheat and exploit. This verification process will deny all users who attempt to verify using a VPN. Additionally, Karuta is not available to users in India or China.
Because of our strict verification policy, and our strong emphasis on banning cheaters, many users will leave negative comments on our Top.gg page as a way of attacking us by proxy. Users who are rightfully denied verification or blacklisted for cheating will come to this page and lie or complain as their way of "getting back." Despite this, we will continue to protect our bot's economy. However, we ask that you scrutinize reviews carefully. Consider that any cheater is going to claim that they were blacklisted/banned "for no reason." These reviews are filled with FUD spread by cheaters and users with interests in competing bots.
