A rogue planet enters the sun's solar system, close to earth but not so close that it affected the gravitational pull of both planets. This planet had valuable resources such as diamonds, gold, and a new material: scientist researched it, sent expedition, mined the materials, used it for buildings, hence boosting science, technologies, etc. One time the item started emitting radiation, causing everyone to get sick: many died, but those who survived gained superhuman abilities. Later reproducing, and kids having the same power as one of their parents, or both melded into one, creating something that is relatively speaking better than the older generation and so on and so forth.

It was later discovered that it was a habitable planet before, but it got thrown out of orbit and drifted to space. Every living thing, such as trees froze, and we're believed to be buried deep down. The beings who created the metal were thought to have "died", but nothing backed up this theory yet. Having a few same specific DNA strands as the humans, the metal radiated again a few years after, due to exact temperature and perfect conditions met, and the exact DNA strands too. This started an uprise of villanous activities, with the United Countries Organization, or the UCO in short, decided to build a school for the best of the best teenagers, those with potential, may it be intellect, for strategies and helping with designing technologies, and those with huge potential, to fight off invasions.
