Imperia Roleplay

Roleplay is a mindset and somewhat consuming. It is dangerous in that anything you put it into will come alive in ways you would never imagine. This server is built around the idea of cultivating Roleplay in the context of strategy games and specifically paradox. These games provide the arena and setting to be able to make incredibly deep and engaging stories that elevate a fun game of strategy to a story spanning generations and millenia. Roleplay is the end all here, the games and their mechanics are simply vehicles for it with the mechanics and game being in many ways of secondary importance. Paradox games and the communities that have sprung up around them have sadly come with a lot of toxicity, and surprisingly despite the paradox motto competitive dominates. We are looking to help build something different. This community is a place where toxicity will not fester and through that we hope to help bring some level of this to the broader community. We take to heart paradox’s words “ We make games, you make stories.” by providing a place for that to be done. Roleplay is something that allows for relaxation, character growth, and fun of a most unique sort. Help us in making it happen!
