# Wordplay

A Discord bot for playing [Wordle](https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/).

You can

* Play in a **channel** to show other members your skill
* Play in **DM** so that nobody sees you fail
* Play a **multiplayer** game where everybody guesses the same word.
* Play a **custom** game where you get to decide the word others need to guess.
* Play with **multiple languages** and different **word lengths**

It also has

* **Leaderboards!** Both global and server-wide.
* **Personal stats!** See how many games you've played and such.

## Setup

A mod can use `/channel action:add` in the channels where members should be allowed to play. As long as no channels are added all channels are available.

## How to play

### Start a game

Start a game with `/play`. You can choose with which word length and language you want to play. Feel free to request a language to be added in the [support server](https://discord.gg/eJPqApKYBb) if it's not in the list yet.

Currently the supported languages are

* English
* Dutch
* Spanish
* German
* French
* Portuguese
* Italian

### Guess

After you started a game you can make a guess with `/guess`. If you're playing in DM, you can simply type the word. No command needed.

⬛ This letter does not appear in the word.

🟨 This letter does appear in the word but is not on the right location.

🟩 This letter does appear in the word and is on the right location.

And as is with Wordle you get 6 attempts to guess the word.

### Multiplayer

You can start a multiplayer game with `/play multiplayer:true`. An invite message with a button will appear. Everyone clicking the button will have to solve the same word in DM, and the results will automatically be posted in the channel where the invite was sent.

### Custom Multiplayer

You can start a custom multiplayer game with `/custom`. With a custom multiplayer game you get to decide the word that everyone needs to guess. This can be from the featured languages, as well as non-existing words using the *Custom* category. In the case of the latter you also get the freedom to choose a word with a length of 3 to 18. Players will also be able to use non-existing words to guess. This allows you to have players guess stuff like movie characters, Pokémon, names of server members, or just some cryptic gibberish.

## Leaderboards

You get a leaderboard with `/top`. There are 4 types of leader boards. 

* Solve count

* Win ratio

* Lowest average guess count

* Longest solve streak

Each combination of word length and language has its own leaderboard, en you can get these leaderboards on a server scale and on a global scale.

## Stats

You can use `/stats` to see your personal stats.

# Spoiler Channels

A Discord bot for managing spoiler channels. Members can change the channel's topic, and large amount of whitespace prevents members from reading spoilers of older topics.

### Quick Guide

1. `spoiler>channel add` in the channel you want to use as spoilers channel.
2. `spoiler>topic [topic]` to set the topic of the channel. You can reuse this command to change the topic.

### Commands

`spoiler>topic [topic]` - Set the topic of a spoilers channel. If no topic is provided the channel will be set to having no topic.

The following commands are for **mods only**. A mod is someone with the permission to manage channels, roles or messages.

`spoiler>prefix [prefix]` - Set the prefix for the commands.

`spoiler>channel ['add'/'remove']`- Add or remove a channel as spoilers channel.

`spoiler>permit ['all'/'mods'/role]` - Set who is allowed to change the topic of the channels.

`spoiler>name [name]` - Set the base name of the channel. A hyphen (-) is automatically added between the name and topic.

`spoiler>warning [text]` - Set the warning text displayed upon changing the channel\'s topic. The text "{topic}" will be replaced with the topic.

`spoiler>timeout [hours]` - Set after how many hours of inactivity the channel's topic should be reset. Default is 24 hours. Use 0 to never auto-reset.

### Example usage

After watching Harry Potter: The Half-Blood Prince I want to discuss the movie with other members. I use `spoiler>topic Harry Potter` to change the topic to Harry Potter. By using the command a message appears that warns me for spoilers of the previous topic, Star Wars. Large amount of whitespace requires members to scroll up to read the spoilers for Star Wars.

After I'm done talking about Harry Potter I reset the channel to having no topic. Another warning appears for the Harry Potter topic.

Spoiler Channels

A bot that manages spoiler channels. Members can set the topic of these channels and are prevented from reading spoilers of older topics.

# Pin it!

A Discord bot for allowing users to pin their messages with attachments. This is useful for channels where people can post their art.

### How to use

When a member posts a message with an attachment in a channel that is added to the list, the member can click on the bot's 📌 reaction to pin the message. If the channel has reached the maximum number of pins, it will automatically remove the latest pin. Members can unpin their latest pin using `pin>unpin`.

### Mod Commands
`pin>prefix [prefix]` 

Change the prefix.

`pin>channel add/remove`

Add or remove the channel where this command is used to the list of channels where the bot is active.

`pin>role [role]`

Restrict this future to members with a certain role. Use `pin>role everyone` if you want to remove the role restriction.

A bot that allows members to pin their messages with attachments. Useful for channels showcasing art or pictures.


# Focus Bot

A Discord bot for blocking your access to servers so that you can focus on your work. It's like a website-blocker for Discord. With a single command, a user can get their access blocked in all the servers the bot is in.

### Guide

1. A mod uses `focus>autosetup [role]` to automatically set the *focus role* and deny the view permission for this role on all channels that the bot has access to. If you want to change the channel permissions yourself you can use `focus>role [role]` to set the *focus role*. If a role with the given name does not exist the bot will create a new role and use that name. If no name is given the name "Focus" will be used.
2. A mod uses `focus>channel add` in the channel where members are allowed to use the register command.
3. Members use `focus>register` to register this server, meaning that when they block their access they will get the *focus role* and not be able to see any channels.
4. Members can now use one of the tree `>block` commands to block their access by getting the *focus role*. See below for more info on the different types of blocking.

### Blocking

By using a block command you will get the *focus roles* in all your registered servers. If you were to leave the server and join it again, you will automatically be assigned the role again.

There are three types of blocking methods:

**Toggle** - `>block toggle` - With this, you can choose to unblock your access whenever you want using `>unblock` (apart from the 5-minute command cooldown).

**Time** - `>block [amount] [minutes/hours/days]` - Set a time period for how long your access should be blocked.

For example: `>block 4 hours` will automatically unblock you after 4 hours. It is not possible to unblock before that.

**Sudoku** - `>block sudoku` - Solve a sudoku puzzle to unblock your access. The fact that you need to put in effort prevents you from taking a quick peek at what's going on.

### Why?

**Why not just close Discord?**

We can say the same about website blockers: Why not just close your browser? And the answer is because you might be tempted to open it again. Website blockers exist so that even if you are tempted it's not possible to look at those websites. In the same way, Focus Bot can help you resist the urge to become distracted by Discord conversations, by making them impossible to read.

Another argument to make is that, while you don't want to be distracted by conversation, you might wanna be approachable by DM.

**Why not leave the server then?**

Same reason. Because depending on the type of server you could easily join it again. You will also lose all your roles, which can be annoying.

Secret Santa is *the* bot for hosting Secret Santas on Discord.

Use `/setup` to get started.

## Features

## Admin commands

### Running the event

* `/create` Create an event.
* `/setup` Start setting up an event. Automatically creates an event if it doesn't exist yet.
* `/start` Start the event.
* `/reset` Reset the event, allowing you to redo the raffle.
* `/end` End the event
* `/destroy` Destroy the event, and with that all data from the database.

### Pools

* `/pool create/delete/edit/etc` Manage pools with these commands.

### Participant info

* `/list` Get a list of all your participants, or one of many filtered list, like who has yet to submit a gift.
* `/info` Get information on a specific participant, like who their Santa is.
* `/peek` Get a layout of your participants, showing who has who as their Santa.
* `/spreadsheet` Generate a spreadsheet with information on all participants.

### Participant actions

* `/ban` Ban the participant from the event (not from the server).
* `/dm` DM a participant using the bot.
* `/latecomers insert` Insert a latecomer in-between a Santa-giftee pair.
* `/latecomers assign` Assign a group of latecomers to each other
* `/manipulate force/deny` Force/deny a Santa-giftee pair to occur in the raffle.
* `/swap` Swap the giftees (and optionally Santas) of two participants.

### Configurations

* `/word` Set the word to use for Santa. For example: Host a Secret Valentine instead!
* `/role` Set the role that is automatically given to server members who join.
* `/welcome` Set the message shown to new participants
* `/letter-required` Require participants to write something about themselves for their Santa to work with.
* `/submit-type` Set how gifts are submitted. Online, by address, both, or neither?
* `/latecomers allow` Whether latecomers are allowed to join.
* `/reveal channel` Set the channel where the gifts will be revealed, or have them appear in DMs instead.
* `/reveal what` What to reveal in a reveal channel. Only the text, the attachments, or both?
* `/reveal names` Whether to reveal the names right as the gift is received.
* `/logs select` Select the events to be logged in a set channel.
* `/logs ping` Set which event logs should ping a set role.

Secret Santa

Host Secret Santas in your server! Write a letter for your Santa, make/buy something for your giftee. Supports anonymous communication.

# Sudoku Bot

A Discord bot for playing Sudoku. Start a game, copy and paste the Sudoku in your input field and start solving! Play against someone else, or against the whole server. Also has leaderboards!

### Quick Guide

1. A mod uses `sudoku>channel add` in the channels where members should be allowed to play Sudoku.

2. A member uses `sudoku>play` in such channel to get a Sudoku to solve.

3. Copy and paste the Sudoku in your input field and start solving.

4. When you are done you can send your solution. No command required.

### Game Modes

There are 3 game modes.

**Singleplayer** - `sudoku>play` - Get a Sudoku and solve it.

**Multiplayer** - `sudoku>play vs @member` - Challenge someone. The first one to solve the Sudoku wins.

**Battle Royale** - `sudoku>play royale` - Everyone is allowed to try and be the first to solve the Sudoku.

When you solve a Sudoku you will get to see your statistics, and also see how fast you solved the Sudoku compared to others. The bot provides 10,000 unique Sudoku puzzles in total.

### Leaderboards

There are 4 types of leader boards

**Fastest solve** - `sudoku>top fastest` - Get the top 10 fastest solves.

**Fastest Average of Five** - `sudoku>top average` - Get the top 10 fastest Average of Five times.

**Most solved** - `sudoku>top solved` - Get the top 10 most Sudokus solved.

**Specific Sudoku** - `sudoku>top [Sudoku ID]` - Get the top 10 fastest solves of a particular Sudoku.

You can get these leaderboards on a server scale and on a global scale.

*Examples:*

`sudoku>top fastest server` to get the top 10 fastest solves of the server this command is used in.

`sudoku>top #0001 global` to get the top 10 fastest solves of Sudoku #0001 globally.
